Pixel 7 or Pixel 8: which should you choose?
Choose Pixel 8 when a longer remaining support window matters and the actual price premium is reasonable. Pixel 7 may suit a lower budget. Compare battery condition, storage and region variant before ordering.
Google's update policy gives Pixel 8 and later seven years, and Pixel 6/7-era devices five years, from first US Google Store availability. Buying refurbished does not restart that clock. Pro-only camera features should not be assumed on base Pixel 8.
